HOW TO APPLY-NEW STUDENTS

ADMISSIONS POLICY

Nondiscrimination Policy: Mauldin Christian Academy (MCA) admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at school.

ADMISSIONS PROCESS FOR ELEMENTARY (K5-5TH)

The Mauldin Christian Academy (MCA) admissions process for K5-5th grade is a TWO-STEP PROCESS which includes the Application Step and the Enrollment Step.  During the Application Process school records will be requested and an admissions assessment will take place.  It is important that we follow these steps to confirm that your child will be successful in the MCA academic environment.  After we receive all the integral pieces, we will communicate the Next Steps.  During the Next Steps, you will be asked to complete the online ENROLLMENT PACKET. After you have submitted the ENROLLMENT PACKET and paid the enrollment fee, your child will be FULLY ENROLLED.

HELPFUL HIGHLIGHTS:

1. Contact MCA and schedule a required tour.

2. Submit an online New Student Application through FACTS

3. Submit the NON-REFUNDABLE $125 New Student Application Fee

4. The school will request school records from your child’s current school

5. Submit the following if applicable:

  • Birth Certificate (Long Form)
  • SC Certificate of Immunization Form (For school or daycare)
  • Custody Decree, if applicable
  • Educational Testing and 504 Plan or IEP

6. You will be contacted to schedule a grade-level Admissions Assessment

7. You will be contacted to schedule a Family Interview (if required)

ADMISSIONS PROCESS: EARLY EDUCATION (P3-P4 HALF DAY PRESCHOOL PROGRAM)

The Mauldin Christian Academy (MCA) admissions process for P3-P4 Half Day Preschool Program is a two-step online process, which includes the Application Step and the Enrollment Step.

After we receive all the integral pieces during the Application Step, we will communicate the Next Steps.  During the Next Steps, you will be asked to complete the online Enrollment Packet.  After you have submitted the Enrollment Packet and paid the enrollment fee, we will process the form, and your child will be FULLY ENROLLED.

HELPFUL HIGHLIGHTS:

1. Contact the School and schedule a required tour.

2. Submit an online New Student Application

3. Submit the NON-REFUNDABLE $125 New Student Application Fee

4. We will need the following documents during the Application Step:

  • Birth Certificate (Long Form)
  • SC Immunization form
  • Developmental testing, if applicable
  • Custody Decree, if applicable

After completing the Application Step, you will be contacted by the admissions coordinator to communicate if you have received a space in the preschool program.  If there is a waitlist, your name will be placed on the list, and you will be contacted in the event a space becomes available.  (If a space does not become available, your application fee will be refunded).

ADMISSIONS PROCESS FOR EARLY LEARNERS DAYCARE (6 WEEKS-K4)

(FULL TIME, YEAR-ROUND PROGRAM)

The Mauldin Christian Academy (MCA) admissions process for the daycare program is a two-step online process, which includes the Application Step and the Enrollment Step.

After we receive all the integral pieces during the Application Step, we will communicate the Next Steps.  During the Next Steps, you will be asked to complete the online Enrollment Packet.  After you have submitted the Enrollment Packet and paid the enrollment fee, we will process the form, and your child will be FULLY ENROLLED.

HELPFUL HIGHLIGHTS:

1. Contact the School and schedule a required tour (Space will not be given if you have not toured the Academy)

2. Submit an online New Student Application

3. Submit the NON-REFUNDABLE $125 New Student Application Fee

4. We will need the following during the Application Step:

  • Birth Certificate (Long Form)
  • SC Immunization form
  • Developmental testing if applicable
  • Custody Decree if applicable
